Transient Ties
‘Transient Ties’ recounts the forced migration of Michaela Nagyidaiová’s grandmother, Eleni/Lena, who fled Greece during the Greek Civil War. Set in Slovakia, the work delves into her identity as a political refugee and examines the impact of displacement on cultural heritage. It sheds light on the fragility of one's connection to their homeland after fleeing.
Sana Sana
Photographer Rosa Lacavalla’s project, Sana Sana describes the gradual and careful process of recovering from emotional traumas as well as a journey towards healing that starts on the inside and ends outward.
The streets of New York
In this project, photographer Cody Cutter delves into the vibrant tapestry of the streets of New York City, undertaking a profound exploration of its diverse denizens. Motivated by an inherent curiosity, he seeks to isolate singular individuals within the bustling multitude, aiming to cast them in a distinctive light that unveils the nuanced layers of their existence. Operating on intuition, Cody adeptly captures the unique moments each person experiences within themselves, creating a poignant connection that resonates across the collective human experience.
Impossible Street Art
A significant new project by British photographer Joseph Ford, who most recently took home a Silver Award in the Environment Category at The AOP Awards 2023, shows what kind of world street artists might come up with in the absence of restrictions. A new initiative that features the first collaborations of prominent worldwide street artists including Peeta, Levalet, and Victoria Villasana.
London Street Chronicles
London-based street photographer Mister Geez recently published his first photobook London Street Chronicles Vol 1. We met with the charming native Martinican to talk about his approach to photography, what gear he uses and why he thinks ethics are important when shooting strangers.
Arrivederci Summer
Photographer Samuel Turrell's debut photographic exhibition, ARRIVEDERCI SUMMER, features a selection of photos he took while spending the summer in Italy. The exhibition will take place at the multi purpose space, Unit 3 in Tottenham. Prints from the exhibition will be available to purchase.

Pam Hogg – Apocalypse
The iconic Pam Hogg presented her latest show at London Fashion Week. Titled Apocalypse and dedicated to Sinéad O'Connor, the Spring/Summer 2024 show presented an exhilarating mix of kinky materials, religious references and a rebellious beauty only Pam is able to capture. If this is the Apocalypse we can’t wait for it to happen!
Urban Impressions
The new pop-up exhibition "Urban Impressions" will be on display at The Yield Gallery in Soho, London, from September 19 through September 29. Several well-known artists, including Fern, Richard Hambleton, Mathew Marquis, Basquiat, Banksy, and Mr Controversial, will be included in the exhibition.
This isn’t Divide and Conquer
India gained its independence from British forces 75 years ago. During this process, a new border was swiftly drawn, separating cities and families. Photographer Aaryan Sinha embarked on a journey to all five Indian states that share a border with Pakistan and investigated how historical events have shaped the Indian landscape and the identity of its people.
Haar
Artist and hairstylist, Birte Klintworth take up the implied challenge of creating camera-less images, offering an alternative, experimental, radical and revelatory form of vision. Abandoning the camera at the outset in favour of a more direct and readily metaphorical rendering of the photographic phenomena.
The Falling Sky
Swiss artist and photographer Olivia Wünsche had a long interests in indigenous worldviews, environmental and humanitarian crisis. She decided to travel to Peru to work with a local NGO. She witnessed first hand what she only new from research: indigenous people are still being subjected to colonial exploitation, but now camouflaged as corporate policies. But she also found forceful resistance and a spirit to fight back by the local community which inspired her to create this series of images, collages and digital paintings.
The borders of Poland
For his latest series, photographer Tommy Sussex travelled to Poland to investigate and document the impact the Russian invasion had on the communities of the borderlands. His carefully selected subjects and deftly composed images visualise the tension of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict and the territorial battle.
Drive-by shootings
We spoke to legendary street photographer David Bradford about quitting his job in an ad agency to become a taxi driver in New York in the 90s. During that time, he created an incredible body of work of iconic scenes of the city – all captured from inside his taxi.

BLACK VENUS at Somerset House
Opening July 20th until September 24th, Somerset House is proud to present BLACK VENUS, an exhibition which examines the historical representation and shifting legacy of Black women in visual culture. Curated by Aindrea Emelife, BLACK VENUS brings together the work of over 18 Black women and non-binary artists to explore the othering, fetishisation and reclamation of narratives around Black femininity.
La Carne dell’Orso (Bear Meat)
With his project Bear Meat, photographer Carlo Lombardi provides a point of view on the fragile relationship between human beings and nature. Using a combination of contemporary photographs and historical images, he investigates the conservation efforts to protect the Marsican brown bear in the Apennine mountains.
